However, meat-brained AI is what we have now, only it's chopped and shredded meat from a headless chicken... as we can see by the attempted immitation of headless chickens we have running about during what should be a battle.

On a side note- is Gaile Grey really too afraid to post in this thread? If she really is a PR gal, then she really should have posted here already. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Not to call her out and taunt her or anything, but a TON of stuff in this thread could be resolved just by ANet recognizing and discussing people's views with us here.

Also, truth/justice whatever: Read through every page again. Yes, some people (myself uber-guilty) have posted many times over about this, but there are one-posters who reaffirm or disagree with our beleifs dotted throughout the thread. Tons of them, actually. Just to point that out.

His suggestions are mostly valid and make sense. Go up your post count somewhere else.

I mainly agree with point number 3, quests with higher gold rewards. This'd be good for newbies and veterans all around, I can't see the harm in it. Quests in the end-game being worth 400g is kind of an insult, IMO.

It seems different over each chapter. Factions enemies die fast as usual, Prophecies enemies are annoying and run away everywhere into other groups or make things overly difficult, usually the caster types and only one enemy per group does that. NF enemies are stoopid dumb. Why? Because Kournan priests, shouldn't be running past their warriors right into the center of my group and standing there doing nothing. That's not right! I'm killing things easier in NF than anywhere else, because of the buggy weird AI.

Wow, I was really suprised to open this thread after not checking it for about a day and a half and see me quoted lol.

SIdra, of course I don't know how many bought Nightfall, but I imagine it's quite a lot. I bet it's enough to make Anet a nice profit anyway. I particularly don't care as long as we get a chapter 4 , and 5 etc.

Gaile probably isn't very concerned about this thread, seeing how many people are posting positive comments here and elsewhere. The vast majority of posts on GWGuru are posts like, "how do I complete this quest", or "how much is this weapon worth." The Riverside Inn is just one small part of GWGuru. Check the other parts of the forum too see what most Guild Wars players are concerned about.

BTW: I said earlier that I absolutely would not post again in this thread, so please do not read this post.

Yay! Someone who agrees with me the current "chicken little AI" is easier than before. /cheer

Like I've been saying, it's easier now than before, because once you figure out how to interupt the simple minded "gotta touch the monk" AI, it's all over.
And then there's the AI monks racing first into battle, then taking a hit and it's "off to the races" causing the congo-line like game play.

It's neither hard, difficult or fun.

Glad to see someone agree with my personal reason of boredom. hehe

I have a feeling Gaile has not responded to the issues brought up here, simply because the game is working as it is intended. An uninstall is looming on my copy, as I can't even be bothered to finish the game now; so in effect, I've wasted $50. With that lost $50, I'll take it to heart and never again buy a product of Anet's. A simple fix on my side, but a true shame as I absolutely loved GW and the potential Nighftall had. I was hoping for a fixed AI (my reason for the boredom); but it's too little too late at this point.

I've got the next game lined up but the wife wont let me touch it till Christmas... grrr

Anyway, here's the last "wish" for a fix before Christmas... as I would so love to see it through. Great game, worst AI I've seen in years = boring game.

But no endgame content..this is the worst bit. No, the POSSIBILITIES ARE NOT ENDLESS!!BECAUSE CASH IN THIS GAME IS THE ENDGAME! Its not pvp..its just accumulating money for fow or for something else. But..when the cash gets nerfed..no endgame content anymore. Sigh, I guess ill try out goonzu online or some other f2p, heard it was good...

Ok, obviously you have no knowledge about anything you are saying. If you actually read anything I typed, you would notice how I referred to the people posting ON THIS THREAD. This is not a viewpoint either, there have been accounts were people have openly said they participate in these types of discussions to prove their "master debating skills" (ya lyra, im talking about you

)

The only reason why you don't respond either like me is because you don't feel as strongly on the topic as me. I understand their viewpoint perfectly, that they are "debate masters" and want to prove it. That is fine, but at least say it openly, and we can just make a thread on who is "teh ultimage gwg debater!"

I don't know about you, but I feel duped that I spent roughly 7 months on a game and that Anet feels little connection with its customers, especially the loyal ones who bought all the chapters. Sid, and btw if you do want to be literal and say "well, there are people who replay these things over and over again", I agree. But, you see they are the ones actually playing, and not going on this forum thats full of angry customers like me.

Dont just make statements about what others say... if your gonna call someone out then you should include quotes and all that jaz...
